The obligations of the Official BMW Clubs Members of BMWCLAF – BMW Clubs Latin America Federation are:

a) Promote and disseminate the BMW brand, its history, its Classic Cars and Motorcycles, including the launches of new models.

b) Promote and disseminate the BMW Motto (Slogan): Pure Driving Pleasure and BMWCLAF: Enjoy the good things in life with your BMW.

c) Manage and Sign, with the endorsement of BMWCLAF, an agreement with the local Agency / Importer / Subsidiary so that Active BMW Members / Partners / Associates (valid Membership Card holders) obtain discounts on new Cars and Motorcycles.

d) Manage and Sign, with the endorsement of BMWCLAF, an agreement with the local Agency / Importer / Subsidiary so that Active BMW Members / Partners / Associates (valid Membership Card holders) obtain discounts on services, spare parts and accessories.

e) Manage and Sign, with the endorsement of BMWCLAF, an agreement with the local Agency / Importer / Subsidiary so that Active BMW Members / Partners / Associates (holders of valid Membership Card) obtain discounts on BMW Driver Experience Courses (Driver for One Day) – BMW Driver School – BMW M School (BMW Motorsport School) and BMW Driving Academy.

f) Manage and Sign, with the endorsement of BMWCLAF, agreements with hotels, restaurants, cinemas, theaters, car or motorcycle rental companies, etc., in order to obtain discounts for their Active BMW Members / Partners / Associates (Cardholders Membership) of your country or Active BMW Members / Partners / Associates of Official BMW Clubs from other countries.

g) Promote, disseminate, incentivize, facilitate, organize and support the visit of its Active BMW Members / Partners / Associates (valid Membership Card holders) to Munich, Germany, in particular the BMW Welt (Show Room and Test Drive de Autos o Motos Nuevos), BMW Museum, BMW Classic Collection, BMW Plant Munich, BMW Lenbachplatz, BMW M Studio (Garching), BMW Driving Academy (Maisach Airport), BMW Schnitzer Motorsport (Freilassing) and BMW Niederlassung / Zentrum (BMW Agencies Autos y Motos), all with the support and organization of BMWCLAF.

h) Promote, disseminate, encourage, facilitate, organize and support the visit of its Active BMW Members / Partners / Associates (holders of valid Membership Card) to Nurburgring, Germany, in particular the BMW Ring Taxi, BMW M Center, Nurburgring Boulevard Shopping, RSR Nürburg Rent a Car – Drive at Nordschleife and Nurburgring Werk (Rennsport) Museum, all supported and organized by BMWCLAF.

i) Promote, disseminate, incentivize, facilitate, organize and support the visit of its Active BMW Members / Partners / Associates (holders of valid Membership Card) to Spartanburg, United States, in particular the BMW Zentrum Museum, BMW Plant Spartanburg , BMW Performance Center East and Museum BMW Car Club of America Foundation, all supported and organized by BMWCLAF.

j) Promote, disseminate, encourage, facilitate, organize and support the visit of its Active BMW Members / Partners / Associates (holders of valid Membership Card) to Palm Springs, United States, in particular the BMW Performance Center West, all with the support and organization of BMWCLAF.

k) Promote, disseminate, encourage, facilitate, organize and support the visit of its Active BMW Members / Partners / Associates (holders of valid Membership Card) to Curitiba, Brazil, in particular the BMW Motorrad Museum Curitiba, all with the support and organization of BMWCLAF.

l) Promote friendship and courtesy on the road, social integration and competitiveness between the Official BMW Club Umbrella, its Chapters, its Members / Partners / Associates and other clubs.

m) Encourage the maintenance and restoration of Classic BMW Cars and Motorcycles.

n) Encourage automobile and motorcycle sports in general, promoting and organizing exclusive events, meetings and competitions in their country, in conditions and facilities specially designed for them, as well as all or any sports and social activity, cooperating, when necessary, with the public power, all in conjunction with its Members / Partners / Associates.

o) Collect and disseminate, together with its Members / Partners / Associates, technical, mechanical and maintenance information on all models of the BMW brand.

p.1) Act as a communication channel and official link between Active Members / Partners / Associates (holders of a valid Membership Card) of Official BMW Clubs, Umbrella Clubs, Chapter Clubs, BMWCLAF, Council and BMW Group.

p.2) Always maintain a relationship of cordiality, friendship, collaboration and respect with the BMW Group, Subsidiaries, Agencies, Workshops and inform the Members / Partners / Associates of the Official BMW Clubs that BMWCLAF, its Partner Umbrella Clubs and Chapters Club They are not Consumer Protection Services.

q) Attend the BMWCLAF Annual Assembly held every year, normally in August, in a Latin American or Caribbean country, with at least one member of its board.

r) Send to BMWCLAF, during the month of November of each year, an updated calendar of the events / activities that will take place the following year by the BMW Umbrella Club / Member Chapter, according to the Club Calendar Model.

s) Send to BMWCLAF, every six months, a report of the events / activities already held by the BMW Umbrella Club / Partner Chapter for dissemination on the BMWCLAF website – BMW Clubs News.

t) Send to BMWCLAF, every six months, an updated list of BMW Active Members / Partners / Associates of the BMW Club Partner containing full name, cell phone number, email address, anniversary date, spouse name and the chassis number of the BMW vehicle, including the list of the current board of directors.

u.1) Pay to BMWCLAF the value of U $ 400.00 (Four Hundred North American Dollars), as a one-time registration fee for the New BMWCLAF Partner Clubs.

u.2) Pay to BMWCLAF every year the established annuity, currently at US $ 350.00 (Three Hundred and Fifty North American Dollars), if the payment is made in January and until April 30 of each year. If the payment is made as of May 1, the value of the annuity will be U $ 400.00 (Four Hundred North American Dollars).

v.1) Charge as a Chapter a minimum annual fee (January-December) from its Members / Partners / Associates of U $ 50.00 (Fifty North American Dollars) as a Minimum Annual Membership Fee in accordance with current rules. This fee may be higher if the Club assembly considers it to be so, given the conditions or needs of support and operation of each Club. It is recommended that the annual membership payment for each Member / Associate / Associate be US $ 100.00 (One Hundred North American Dollars) to your club, so that the club has a minimum operating fund that allows it to generate activity and grow in membership.

v.2) Charge as Country Umbrella to the Official BMW Chapters Clubs every year the annuity established by BMWCLAF, currently at US $ 350 (Three Hundred and Fifty North American Dollars), if the payment is made in January and until April 30, every year. If the payment is made as of May 1, the value of the annuity will be U $ 400 (Four Hundred North American Dollars).

w) Use the logos and brands of the BMW Group on its Membership Cards, Website, Social Networks, Stationery (Business Cards, Letterhead, etc.) and Marketing Material (Keychains, T-Shirts, Banners, Caps, Stickers , Pin’s, Pencils, Flags, etc.), all in accordance with the rules established by BMWCLAF, the Council and the BMW Group; even support BMWCLAF in the proper use of the brand among Club Members / Partners / Associates and / or Official BMW Clubs; In addition, check in your country if there are unofficial groups using the logos without authorization and report them to BMWCLAF by presenting a letter with the corresponding evidence to the Presidency so that the legal department of BMWCLAF and BMW LATAM can legally sue the offenders.

x) Create, publish and update your Website, Facebook Page and Flickr Photo Archive, including other social networks such as Instagram, Twitter and Youtube. Maintain also published on the Website and Facebook of the Official BMW Club an updated page with a summary of the history of the club, additionally informing the date and place of foundation, date and certification entity (official status), it must even publish the digital copy of the letter of support from the Agency / Importer / Subsidiary and the certificate (s) of certification (officiality).

y) Always use the three logos together, of the same size, in the upper right corner, with their respective links and in the following order: Club logo – BMWCLAF logo- BMW Council logo.

z) Comply with all the norms established by BMWCLAF and the Council, in particular its statutes, its directives, regulations and guidelines.
