BMW M is ushering in a new era of high-performance vehicles with the arrival of the fully electric Neue Klasse, scheduled for 2027. This new series is set to take the BMW M driving experience to the next level, blending track-focused dynamics with everyday versatility and introducing high-performance technology never before seen in the brand.<\/p>

BMW M DNA brought into the new electric generation<\/h3>

BMW M Neue Klasse models carry the brand\u2019s historic DNA into a fully electric architecture. Each wheel is powered by its own electric motor, while the Dynamic Performance Control system optimizes torque distribution and traction in real time. This ensures maximum performance, safety, and dynamic control, both on the road and on the track.<\/p>

BMW M eDrive: High-performance technology<\/h3>

At the heart of the new architecture is BMW M eDrive, based on the Gen6 technology of the BMW Neue Klasse. Each wheel is powered by its own electric motor, allowing for all-wheel or rear-wheel drive depending on the situation, and delivering instant response, efficient energy recovery, and maximum stability through corners and extreme acceleration. Predefined driving modes and simulated gear shifts further enhance the distinctive BMW M driving experience.<\/p>

High-voltage battery: Power and ultra-fast charging<\/h3>

The high-voltage battery, with a capacity of over 100\u202fkWh, is engineered for both extreme performance and everyday use. Its power-focused chemistry enables faster charging, efficient energy recuperation, and suitability for track driving. Additionally, the battery\u2019s metal casing enhances structural rigidity, further improving the vehicle\u2019s overall dynamics.<\/p>

Innovative design and sustainable materials<\/h3>

BMW M is introducing natural fiber elements for the first time in its fully electric high-performance models. This material, which shares similar properties with carbon fiber, reduces CO\u2082 emissions during production by up to 40% while maintaining lightness, durability, and safety. Lightweight construction continues to be a cornerstone for ensuring maximum performance and energy efficiency.<\/p>

Outstanding performance on road and track<\/h3>

Thanks to the combination of four electric motors, Dynamic Performance Control, and a high-voltage battery, BMW M Neue Klasse models deliver unprecedented performance.
