Gonzalo Sanju\u00e1n will assume leadership of BMW Group Brazil on September 2026<\/h3>

BMW Group<\/span><\/span> announced the appointment of Gonzalo Sanju\u00e1n as the new CEO of BMW Group Brazil, a position that will take over officially on September 1, 2026. The executive will report directly to Maru Escobedo<\/span><\/span>, who currently serves as President and CEO of BMW Group Latin america since march 2026.<\/p>

This strategic move strengthens the bet of BMW Group to consolidate its leadership in the premium segment in Brazil, one of the most relevant markets for the automotive industry in Latin America.<\/p>

A career of more than two decades within the BMW Group<\/h3>

Gonzalo Sanju\u00e1n has a solid international experience and a track record of over 20 years within the BMW Group. He began his career in 2002 as a fellow of marketing, evolving quickly into key positions in areas of sales, strategy and marketing for the brands BMW and MINI.<\/p>

Prior to assuming the leadership of BMW Group Brazil, Sanju\u00e1n he held the position of Marketing Director of BMW from Spain to 2021, which drove significant business results and strengthened the positioning of the brand in the european market.<\/p>

International experience in the BMW and MINI<\/h3>

Between 2017 and 2021, Gonzalo Sanju\u00e1n led the Cluster of Sales and Marketing for the south of Europe in MINI, with headquarters in Germany, coordinating strategic initiatives in different markets of the region.<\/p>

Also, he played prominent roles within MINI Spain as Head of Sales & Strategy and Area Sales Manager. His experience also covers the business of BMW Motorrad Spain, where she worked in the areas of business management, business intelligence, and product management.<\/p>

Thanks to this international experience, Sanju\u00e1n brings a strategic vision oriented to innovation, mobility, premium and sustainable growth of the company.<\/p>

Academic training and executive leadership<\/h3>

In the academic sphere, Gonzalo Sanju\u00e1n is a graduate of Business Administration from the University Complutense of madrid. In addition, he holds a Masters in Marketing and Commercial Management from ESIC and completed an executive leadership program at the London Business School.<\/p>

Your profile combines corporate experience, global vision and deep knowledge of the automotive segment premium, factors that will be critical to lead the new stage of BMW Group Brazil.<\/p>

Maru Escobedo highlights the experience of Gonzalo Sanju\u00e1n<\/h3>

During the official announcement, Maru Escobedo expressed full confidence in the leadership of the new CEO and noted his international experience within the company.<\/p>

The board noted that Gonzalo Sanju\u00e1n account with the ideal profile to continue to strengthen the operations of the BMW Group Brazil and consolidate the positioning of the brand in the competitive market premium brazilian.<\/p>

BMW Group Brazil invests in innovation and sustainability<\/h3>

For its part, Gonzalo Sanju\u00e1n said he felt honored to assume the leadership of BMW Group Brazil, calling the country as a strategic market and dynamic for the group's brands.<\/p>

The new CEO said that it will focus its management in accelerating the transition towards technologies Neue Klasse, to strengthen the leadership of BMW in the premium segment and offering innovative experiences to customers and business partners.<\/p>
