The program, which began in early July, will demonstrate the real potential of the Vehicles that operate Exclusively with Fuels Eligible (VEEF)*.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-52e049f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"52e049f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The initiative will deploy a fleet of around 20 vehicles, Toyota and BMW, gasoline-powered with 100% renewable Nexa 95 Repsol, and backed by the advanced digital technology of follow-up of Bosch fuel.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-67d2aef elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"67d2aef\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>This pilot aims to provide tangible evidence and in real-world conditions of the Vehicles that operate Exclusively with Fuels Eligible can be deployed effectively at scale, to support Europe's transition to decarbonize mobility through a complementary approach and technologically neutral, without leaving anyone behind.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-111b7ce elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"111b7ce\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>\u201cThe opening technology is a key pillar of the strategy of BMW Group; at the same time, our goal is always to have vehicles that are more environmentally friendly and efficient on the road. Our vehicles, as part of this pilot, future-oriented, help you get valuable data that allow us to offer our global customers the best and most efficient powertrain in the future\u201d, says Dr. Stefan Heller, head of program Development VEEF in the BMW Group.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b339fc9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b339fc9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The pilot program will focus on three key objectives:<\/p><ul><li>Availability of renewable gasoline on the market \u2013 taking advantage of the infrastructure of Repsol, currently the sole supplier of gasoline to 100% renewable in service stations public in Spain.<\/li><li>Preparation of digital technologies for monitoring and certification \u2013 enabled by the system of \u201cDigital Fuel Twin\u201d of Bosch, which certifies the use of renewable fuel throughout its life cycle.<\/li><li>Operational deployment of fleets VEEF \u2013 showing that existing vehicles can operate today with fuels to 100% renewable using the current infrastructure.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-546c5d9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"546c5d9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The system of Bosch will collect and validate data recharge from multiple sources, including vehicle data, service stations and transactions with fuel cards, ensuring a follow-up robust and transparent in the use of renewable fuel.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3c51294 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3c51294\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>\u201cWith our \u2018Digital Fuel Twin\u2019, Bosch brings full transparency to digital across the value chain of the fuel for tracking and verification of reliable renewable fuels from the moment they enter the market to the end consumer. Gasoline Nexa 95 renewable Repsol is produced from raw materials that are compatible with the Renewable Energy Directive (RED), offering significant reductions in greenhouse gas emissions compared with fossil fuels, and is fully compatible with the engines and to the infrastructure of gasoline today. Spain has been selected as the optimal location for this demonstration due to the availability of renewable gasoline, the strong collaboration between partners and the operational support of Toyota, Spain.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9c7249d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9c7249d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>\u201cAt Repsol, we believe that every solution to reduce emissions, has a role in the decarbonization of transport. This project highlights how renewable fuels can extend the choice of the consumer, offering another way to reduce the carbon footprint of using vehicles and existing infrastructure. As the only company that currently supplies gas to 100% renewable in service stations public in Spain, Repsol is proud to contribute its experience and infrastructure along with Toyota, BMW and Bosch. As we transition, it is increasingly clear that there is a growing risk that is not fully attains the objective of vehicles 100% zero emissions by 2035. In such a scenario, the renewable fuels can help to close the gap to achieve carbon neutrality, especially when combined with technologies such as hybrid and plug-in.
