BMW iX3: the first great step of the Neue Klasse reaches a new record<\/strong><\/h5>

BMW Group Plant in Debrecen, Hungary, reached a new milestone in its history by producing the unit number 50,000 of the BMW iX3, just nine months after the start of the series production. This achievement represents one of the leaders of the fastest production that the company has achieved in a plant completely new and confirms the ability of BMW Group to lead the transition towards a new generation of electric vehicles.<\/p>

The BMW iX3 produced in Debrecen is not just a new model within the electric range of the German firm. It is the first production vehicle in the series based on the architecture Neue Klasse, a platform that will pave the way for technological and design of the next models of the BMW Group.<\/p>

The arrival of this unit number 50,000 demonstrates the rapidity with which the new installation has managed to adapt to the demands of a modern production, combining innovation, digitalization and industrial efficiency.<\/p>

A new plant ready for the next generation of BMW<\/strong><\/h5>

The plant of Debrecen is one of the projects most important industry of the BMW Group in the last few years. Built from scratch, it was designed specifically to produce vehicles of the Neue Klasse and become a strategic point within the global network of manufacturing company.<\/p>

The BMW iX3 is the first model manufactured in series under this new philosophy of production, where the electrification, digitalisation and sustainability have a central role.<\/p>

Beyond the manufacture of a new electric vehicle, Debrecen works as a learning platform for the BMW Group. The processes developed during the launch of the iX3 will serve as a reference for future implementations of the Neue Klasse in other plants around the world.<\/p>

Hans-Peter Kemser, president and ceo of BMW Group Plant in Debrecen, stated that this achievement reflects the experience and dedication of the team in charge of putting in place an entirely new installation.<\/p>

The growth of production responds to the high demand of the BMW iX3<\/strong><\/h5>

The rate of production of the BMW iX3 increased rapidly from the start of production. One of the key factors was the incorporation of advance of a second shift of work in February 2026, a decision made due to the strong demand that the new electric model generated from its commercial launch.<\/p>

The acceleration of the production allowed the BMW Group to respond to a large number of orders, and get closer to a new goal: to reach soon, the 100,000 orders received for the first series-production model of the Neue Klasse.<\/p>

This growth confirms the interest of the customers for the new generation of electric vehicles from BMW and demonstrates that the strategy of electrification of the brand continues to gain strength.<\/p>

Neue Klasse: the platform that will transform the future of BMW<\/strong><\/h5>

The Neue Klasse is much more than a new generation of electric vehicles. For BMW Group represents a complete transformation in the way that we design, manufacture and use their cars.<\/p>

This new architecture integrates advances in areas such as electrical technology, software, energy efficiency and digital experience to the users.<\/p>

The BMW iX3 thus becomes the starting point of a new era for the German company. From this platform will more models that incorporate the same technology and design principles.<\/p>

BMW Group plans to launch 40 new models or updated before the end of 2027, many of them based on the advances introduced by the Neue Klasse.<\/p>
