Manaus. <\/span><\/strong>BMW Motorrad celebrates a historic moment for its international operation. The plant in Manaus, Brazil, has achieved the production of 150,000 BMW motorcycles manufactured in the country, coinciding with the tenth anniversary of this facility, considered to be the only factory of the brand dedicated exclusively to motorcycle outside of Germany.<\/p>

The motorcycle that represents this important achievement is a BMW R 1300 GS Adventure Triple Black, one of the models most technologically advanced of the German firm and a benchmark in the segment of adventure. This photograph symbolizes the evolution of a plant for a decade, has combined innovation, quality and industrial development to strengthen the presence of BMW Motorrad in Latin America.<\/p>

The milestone for BMW Motorrad, reaching up to 150,000 motorcycles produced in Manaus confirms the strategic importance of Brazil within the global network of production of the company and demonstrates the capacity of the factory to maintain the same standards of quality required by the headquarters in Germany.<\/p>

The plant Manaus celebrates 10 years promoting the production of BMW Motorrad<\/strong><\/h5>

Opened in 2016, the plant Manaus was born as part of the strategy from BMW Motorrad to expand its industrial presence and to bring the production to one of its most important markets in Latin America.<\/p>

During these ten years, the factory has received ongoing investments aimed at improving its processes, incorporate new technologies, and to strengthen the preparation of their co-workers. Thanks to this evolution, the brazilian installation has gradually increased its productive capacity and currently manufactures 13 different models for the national market.<\/p>

The plant Manaus represents a unique case within BMW Motorrad, as it is the only factory of motorcycles of the brand outside of Germany that is dedicated exclusively to the production of motorcycles. This feature makes it a strategic point within the global structure of the BMW Group.<\/p>

In addition to the production of motorcycles, the operation has allowed the development of a chain of local suppliers of highly specialized, generating direct and indirect jobs in the amazon region and contributing to the economic growth of the area.<\/p>

The achievement of BMW Motorrad reaching up to 150,000 motorcycles produced in Manaus not only represents a production number, but also the result of work done by hundreds of professionals who are part of the operation in brazil.<\/p>

The factory has evolved along with the technology of BMW Motorrad, adapting to new assembly processes, systems, digital production and international quality standards.<\/p>

Alex Donatti, director of the plant of the BMW Group in Manaus, stressed the importance of this moment:<\/p>

\u201cTo celebrate 10 years of operation, as it would be an extraordinary achievement, but to reach the mark of 150,000 motorcycles produced on this moment makes it even more special. This shows that our plant has reached maturity, operational, technological, and human\u201d.<\/p>

The executive also pointed out that every motorcycle manufactured in Manaus represents the brand's commitment to innovation and excellence, as well as the effort of a team that has accompanied the growth of BMW Motorrad in Brazil.<\/p>

BMW R 1300 GS Adventure Triple Black: the motorcycle that marks the new record<\/strong><\/h5>

The motorcycle is chosen to represent this historic moment was a BMW R 1300 GS Adventure Triple Black, a version that combines unique design, advanced technology and outstanding capabilities for long voyages.<\/p>

This model incorporates the boxer engine more powerful, developed by BMW Motorrad until now, with 145 horsepower and 149 Nm of torque, offering an exceptional response both on the road and off the road.<\/p>

Its design was completely renovated with respect to previous generations, highlighting an impressive fuel tank aluminum with a capacity of 30 litres, designed to expand the autonomy in long-distance travel.<\/p>

The BMW R 1300 GS Adventure also incorporates solutions focused on improving the comfort and safety of the pilot. Among them is the system Dynamic Suspension Adjustment (DSA), which electronically adjustable damping and the stiffness of the spring in real time to adapt to the driving conditions.<\/p>

Another of his innovations is the system of automatic adjustment of height, able to reduce the height of the motorcycle up to 30 mm when it is stopped or traveling at a low speed, making it easier for the pilot to support the foot with added safety.<\/p>
