Woodcliff Lake, NJ. <\/span><\/strong><\/b>The BMW M 1000 RR MotoAmerica once again proved why it is one of the motorcycles most competitive in the u.s. championships in Superbike. During the sixth round of the season 2026, held at the circuit of the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Sean Dylan Kelly and the team OrangeCat Racing got a new victory and a second place which strengthened their position as the leaders of the championship Quad-Lock Superbike.<\/p>

With only three weekends of competition ahead, BMW Motorrad Motorsport continued to build on a breakout season. The combination between the experience of the team OrangeCat Racing, the talent of Sean Dylan Kelly and the performance of the BMW M 1000 RR allowed to extend the advantage in the championship, while Jayson Uribe also added important points that bring you to the first places in the general classification.<\/p>

The weekend also marked the return of Kaleb De Keyrel aboard a BMW M 1000 RR, leaving an excellent impression within the Superbike Cup with two solid second places.<\/p>

The BMW M 1000 RR started strong from training<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>

From the first free sessions it was clear that BMW came at Mid-Ohio with a very competitive package. Sean Dylan Kelly showed a consistent pace throughout Friday, while Jayson Uribe managed to be placed among the fastest riders from the start of the weekend.<\/p>

Uribe finished third in the first free practice and subsequently got an outstanding rating that allowed him to secure a place in the second row for both races. For his part, Kelly won a seat in the first row of output, a strategic position to take advantage of the extraordinary acceleration and speed of the BMW M 1000 RR.<\/p>

The preparation made by OrangeCat Racing again demonstrated the high level reached by the official team BMW Motorrad Motorsport within the championship, MotoAmerica, where every detail of the set point is decisive.<\/p>

Sean Dylan Kelly conquers a brilliant victory in Race 1<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>

The first competition of the weekend offered one of the best shows of the season.<\/p>

Sean Dylan Kelly conducted an output impeccable and immediately took the lead in leveraging the power of the BMW M 1000 RR. However, after the first few laps momentarily lost two positions and dropped to the third place.<\/p>

Far from conforming, the american pilot began a comeback smart, managing the pace and tyre wear. As the laps went by reducing the gap with the leaders to recover the first place when you were only six laps to the end.<\/p>

Once to the front, Kelly imposed a pace impossible to follow for your opponents and cross the finish line with an advantage sufficient to ensure a smooth victory.<\/p>

With this triumph, BMW added a new victory of the season and strengthened the excellent momentum within the u.s. championships.<\/p>

Meanwhile, Jayson Uribe finished in the ninth position after a career consistent that allowed him to score important points for the championship.<\/p>

A rugged Race 2 ended with another podium finish for BMW<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>

The second race of the weekend was marked by numerous incidents that forced the officials of the race to stop the competition on two occasions by red flag.<\/p>

Before the first interruption, Sean Dylan Kelly had returned to demonstrate a competitive pace to lead much of the race. However, when the test was stopped because of a new accident and to have completed the minimum number of laps set by the regulation, Kelly was in the second position.<\/p>

The result meant his third second place of the season 2026, in addition to representing a precious booty of points for the championship.<\/p>

Although the race ended before its time, the american pilot came back to show you the BMW M 1000 RR remains a pace capable of fighting for victory in any circuit on the calendar.<\/p>

Jayson Uribe starred in other action consistent. Thanks to a smart driving and an excellent management of the pace, finished sixth, a result that allows you to get closer to the seventh position in the championship, leaving only a point away.<\/p>

Kaleb De Keyrel shone in his return with the BMW<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>

One of the highlights of the weekend was the return of Kaleb De Keyrel the team OrangeCat Racing.<\/p>

The pilot returned to compete on the BMW M 1000 RR number 51 and quickly found an excellent competitive level.<\/p>

Although he participated within the Superbike Cup Of Keyrel completed a weekend practically perfect finishing second in both races of the category, accumulating a significant amount of points for the championship.<\/p>

His quick adaptation came back to show the competitiveness of the BMW M 1000 RR and the level of preparation that offers OrangeCat Racing.<\/p>

Sean Dylan Kelly: “The BMW M 1000 RR was incredible from the start”<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>

After the competition, Sean Dylan Kelly highlighted the extraordinary behavior of the motorcycle during the whole weekend.<\/p>

The pilot explained that from the first practice session felt a connection to a very special BMW M 1000 RR, which allowed him to maintain a competitive pace during all activities.<\/p>

Kelly also acknowledged the work done by all the technical team BMW Motorrad Motorsport and OrangeCat Racing, ensuring that the progress achieved during the last few months, you will begin to be reflected in the results.<\/p>

Although he regretted that the second race ended early by a red flag, he emphasized that the balance sheet was extremely positive and that the goal now will be to maintain that level for the last dates of the championship.<\/p>

Jayson Uribe continues to evolve race after race<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>

For its part, Jayson Uribe was pleased with the learning obtained in the Mid-Ohio.<\/p>

The pilot explained that the team was able to gather a huge amount of information about the behaviour of the motorcycle using tires of hard compound, which still represented an area of improvement.<\/p>

Uribe acknowledged that his performance with the soft tyres is already very competitive, but considers it essential to adapt better to the compounds more resistant to be able to constantly fight for positions within the Top 5.<\/p>

The confidence within the team continues to grow as the season progresses.<\/p>

Kaleb De Keyrel enjoy his return to the BMW M 1000 RR<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>

Kaleb De Keyrel also expressed their satisfaction by returning to compete with BMW.<\/p>

The pilot said that the BMW M 1000 RR continues to be one of their motorcycles favourite thanks to its balance, stability, and ease to find a competitive pace.<\/p>

In addition, he highlighted the experience of competing for the first time in the Superbike Cup, a category that replaced the old championship Stock 1000 and that has significantly increased the level of competition.<\/p>

BMW strengthens its leadership towards the end of the season<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>

After six rounds contested, Sean Dylan Kelly extended his lead in the championship Quad-Lock Superbike championship to 24 points, a difference that could prove decisive when only remain three weekends of competition.<\/p>

The regularity has been one of the main strengths of the american pilot, who combines victories, podiums and consistent results within the first few positions.<\/p>

The next round of the championship MotoAmerica Superbike championship will be held from 14 to 16 August in the demanding circuit of Virginia International Raceway (VIR).<\/p>

It will be a key venue for the fight for the championship, as Sean Dylan Kelly will look to further extend their advantage before tackling the last powers of the calendar.<\/p>

BMW will come again as one of the favorites after a show in the Mid-Ohio that the BMW M 1000 RR maintains an outstanding level in both speed and reliability.<\/p>

If the performance shown during the last few races is maintained, the German brand will have great chances to close the season conquering the championship MotoAmerica Superbike championship, confirming once more the extraordinary competitive potential of the BMW M 1000 RR in one of the national championships are more important in the world.<\/p>
