The summer is not slowed down the activity of the BMW M Motorsport. While many categories take advantage of August to reduce their competitive activity, the Nürburgring again to focus a good part of the attention of the motoring German from the 14th to the 16th of August. For BMW M Motorsport, the weekend left a combination of sporting results show for the fans and the presence of one of their projects the most eye-catching: the BMW M3 Touring 24H.

The program brought together different categories and concepts of competition. Since the BMW M2 Cup until the ADAC GT4 Germany, passing by the activity of the Nürburgring Endurance Series, the racing cars to BMW customers returned to be among the protagonists. Michael Schrey again dominate the BMW M2 Cup

In the land strictly competitive, Michael Schrey turned out to be one of the names of the weekend. The German rider won for the third consecutive year a perfect weekend at the Nürburgring within the BMW M2 Cup.

At the wheel of the BMW M2 Racing number 2 of Hofor Racing by Bonk Motorsport, Schrey got the two poles and subsequently transformed both positions of privilege in victories. The result allowed him to repeat an action that has already become one of its specialties within this category.

The performance of Schrey was accompanied by a double second place of Moritz Groneck. The German pilot, at the wheel of the BMW M2 Racing number 77 I Motorsport, he finished second in the two races held during the weekend.

The third step of the podium had two different actors. Christopher Holst took the BMW M2 Racing I Motorsport up to the third position on Saturday, while on Sunday Niklas Hirsch, FK Performance Motorsport, completed the podium.

The result also reflects the competitiveness of a category designed around vehicles virtually identical, where the difference ends up being in the ability of the riders and teams to take advantage of every opportunity.

For BMW M Motorsport, the BMW M2 Cup represents one of the most important platforms within its program of competition for customers. Nürburgring again demonstrate with two runs in the BMW M2 Racing occupied the top positions.

Podiums for the BMW M4 GT4 EVO in ADAC GT4 Germany

The activity of BMW M Motorsport continued in the ADAC GT4 Germany, where the BMW M4 GT4 EVO also had a prominent presence.

I Motorsport opened the weekend with a second place finish in the first race thanks to Linus Hahne and Phillip Wiskirchen, who took the BMW M4 GT4 EVO number 77 to the podium.

The outcome was also important for the general classification. Piana and Sylverstersson are currently third in the drivers ' championship, with 121 points, keeping the BMW M4 GT4 EVO in the struggle for the important positions of the season.

These results are particularly relevant for BMW M Motorsport because they show the role of the BMW M4 GT4 EVO within different private structures. The model not only compete on european circuits, but that allows different teams to fight regularly for podiums and victories within categories GT4.

Eight wins class in the NLS

The balance of BMW M Motorsport in the Nürburgring is not limited to the program from 14 to 16 August. The Nürburgring Endurance Series had also left a result particularly prominent during the first weekend of the month.

At that appointment, the official riders of BMW M Ugo de Wilde, Jens Klingmann and Tim Tramnitz got the second position in the overall classification with the BMW M4 GT3 EVO number 77, Schubert Motorsport.

The BMW M4 GT3 EVO also appeared among the first positions with FK Performance Motorsport. Dan Harper, Leyton Fourie and Maxime Oosten finished fifth in the general classification and third parties within the category SP9 PRO with the BMW M4 GT3 EVO number 1.

But the fact that better reflects the breadth of the program BMW was the amount of wins of class. The associated equipment to the BMW M Motorsport achieved eight victories in different categories.

AV Racing by Black Falcon won in SP10 with the BMW M4 GT4 EVO, while Hofor Racing by Bonk Motorsport won in the category BMW M2.

To these results were added victories in the categories BMW M240i, BMW 325i, SP4, V3, V4, and VT2-RWD. A sample of the presence of BMW at the Nürburgring is not solely dependent on their vehicles GT3 or GT4, but of a structure-much more extensive racing cars to customers.

BMW M Motorsport keeps the pace outside of Germany

The good moment of the teams of BMW M Motorsport nor is it limited to the Nürburgring. During the same weekend, Century Motorsport achieved several podiums in the British GT championship in Snetterton.

The international activity had also left positive results a few days before. In the GT Cup Series, held between July 31 and August 2 in Most, Czech Republic, H&R Special Springs got two wins in a category with the BMW M4 GT3 EVO.

GT Sports he repeated the feat with the BMW M4 GT4 EVO, achieving two wins within its category.

A program of more and more customers wide

Beyond a victory or a podium particular, the weekend of the Nürburgring shows the amplitude that has currently reached the racing program for customers of BMW M Motorsport.

The Nürburgring was the perfect stage to prove it. Between cars of resistance, categories GT4, racing brand and programs of competition for customers, BMW returned to occupy many spaces within the same weekend.

And with the BMW M3 Touring 24H prepared to return to the paddock at the end of August, the presence of BMW M Motorsport in the mythical circuit a German still has another chapter to write.
