WELCOME TO THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE
A former airport near Maisach, about 30 kilometers west of Munich, has been home to the Driving Academy since September 2012. The site, where military and later civil aircraft took off in the past, now houses one of the largest road safety centers-training sites in southern Germany: the latest in driver training for passionate petrol bosses on a total area of 130 hectares. This is where both experienced and novice drivers learn what it feels like to be in full control of a car in extreme and dangerous situations.
In addition to numerous regular training courses, the Driving Academy also offers beginning drivers from the local area around Maisach the opportunity to participate in a free driver safety course at various times each year, as a progression after driving school. Driving Academy is much more than a training ground. It is both a completely unusual and first-class location. Just the right thing to do for active driving incentives, with employees, customers or business partners.
Based on the Meet & Drive concept, the Driving Experience team plans, organizes and conducts workshops, training sessions, seminars and meetings, completely in line with your individual requirements. Discover the area and its many opportunities for corporate groups, agencies and individuals.
In addition to driving pleasure and safety, another topic also has a top priority at Driving Academy: sustainability. The entire site is a nature reserve, in which a rich and unique flora and fauna have established themselves. This is something that the BMW Group obviously wants to preserve, and is committed to doing so. The BMW Group strictly adheres to the requirements of the Bavarian Ministry of the Environment when maintaining facilities and with regard to wildlife conservation.
Whether it's someone who has recently passed their driving test or a passionate drifter, our wide range of driver safety courses means we have the right course for every need. They guarantee safety and confidence behind the wheel. In the latest range of BMW and MINI vehicles, you learn everything you need to know to master everyday traffic. Meanwhile, drift courses with the new BMW M4 Coupé are tailor-made for more advanced drivers looking for a special injection of adrenaline. We also offer a range of attractive driver safety courses for professional drivers and motorcyclists.

The converted aircraft hangar, which is a listed building, offers an exceptional location for all types of active driving events. Vehicle related events, special presentations, conferences, permanent receptions and much more, plus there is plenty of space for every type of event and occasion. The flexible room welcomes up to 400 guests in a unique mix of out of place and historic buildings. Whether it's tables for a dinner party, a reception, or in combination with display vehicles - the options are endless. For example, the BMW Hall was used for the award ceremony of the BMW Sports Trophy, the great end-of-year event of BMW Motorsport.
