LEGO and BMW launched an exclusive BMW M3 E30 collection
BMW Group and The LEGO Group they announced a special collaboration to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the iconic BMW M3 E30. As a result of this partnership, both companies developed jointly by the new set LEGO Speed Champions BMW M3 E30, specially designed for fans of motorsport and collectors.
This is the first time that BMW Group and the LEGO Group co-create a model Speed Champions with direct involvement of the design teams of both brands.
A design inspired by the history of BMW M Motorsport
The new LEGO Speed Champions BMW M3 E30 stands out for incorporating a unique decor inspired by the legacy of sports-BMW M Motorsport. The eye-catching livery combines colors and shapes that pay homage to the history of competition of the legendary sports sedan.
One of the highlights of this collaboration is that the design not only to be present in the LEGO version, but also in a BMW M3 E30 real converted into showcar officer for the celebration of the anniversary.
A set LEGO with a high level of detail
The model LEGO Speed Champions BMW M3 E30 was developed with a high level of precision to replicate faithfully the most characteristic features of the original vehicle.
Among the included items stand out:
- Kidneys front BMW
- Rear spoiler sports
- Front grille with four round headlights
- Wheels functional
- Minifigura pilot BMW M
The set has 358 pieces and approximate dimensions of 17 inches long and 7 centimeters wide, offering the experience of building attractive both for adults and young fans.
BMW and LEGO to expand the experience for the fans
As part of the celebration, the BMW Group will also launch a real-life version of the t-shirt used by the minifigura LEGO included in the set. This garment will be available from 1 August of 2026 at dealerships BMW and in the official store lifestyle.bmw.com.
With this initiative, both brands seek to strengthen the emotional bond with the new generations of fans of BMW M and LEGO Speed Champions.

Release date and pre-sales officer
The LEGO Speed Champions BMW M3 E30 is now available on pre-sale through LEGO.com and will officially shops LEGO and dealers BMW the next August 1, 2026.
In addition, the launch will be accompanied by a special event in Berlin, where attendees can learn about the BMW M3 E30 showcar with the exclusive livery, developed by BMW Group and the LEGO Group.
