
The competition develops in the region of Transylvania, with a camp located on the outskirts of Colțești, surrounded by the Carpathian mountains and some of the great forests of Europe. During the next few days, the participants will have to face to gravel roads, forests, crossing rivers and different ascents and descents of the mountain.
Under the slogan “Back to Basics”, the GS Trophy 2026 presents an experience in which the driving of adventure, endurance and collaboration play a fundamental role.
Brazil is the representation of Latin american to the GS Trophy 2026
Of the eight competencies qualifying national and regional are made for this edition, came the computers participating in Romania. In total, there are 13 international teams, eight of them in the category of men, consisting of three pilots, and five teams for women, staffed by two participants.
Among the 30 riders selected are two representatives of Brazil: Aloisio Frazão, within the International Team manly, and Eduarda Mikulski, who integrates the Women's Team International.
The brazilian presence again placed to Latin america within one of the main international meetings of driving adventure organized by BMW Motorrad.

Aloisio Frazão, brazilian experience in International Team
With 52 years, Aloisio Frazão form part of the International Team and has previous experience in the BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy. Your participation in the 2012 edition as a finalist marked an important point in his career in motorcycling adventure.
He is currently working for BMW Motorrad Brazil, where it is involved in driving courses, expeditions and events related to the brand. His experience combines the driving adventure with the knowledge gained over the years within the community GS.
In Romania, Frazão shares equipment with the american Jordan Wiley and the Uzbek Ivan Morozov, who also arrive at the GS Trophy with different experiences related to motorcycling, and adventure.

Eduarda Mikulski represents Brazil in the category women's
The brazilian representation is also present in the category women's thanks to Eduarda Mikulski, a civil engineer of 35 years, that integrates the Women's Team International, along with the american Stephanie Townsend.
Mikulski has been linked to the motorcycling from an early age and travel led her towards the motorcycle trail of a large displacement. His approach to the BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy also influenced the choice of his first BMW motorcycle.
Your participation in Romania is part of the growing presence of women in the GS Trophy, which for this edition brings five teams women from Germany, Europe, the international category, China, and Australia.

Romania put to the test the skills of the participants
The scenario chosen for the BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy 2026 will take participants through some of the landscapes that are more representative of Transylvania. Tours include forests, gravel roads, river crossings and mountainous areas that will test both your driving technique as the adaptive capacity of the equipment.
Editing 2026 also has as its protagonist the BMW R 12 G/S, used as a motorcycle competition to address the different challenges of the route. Their capabilities in and out of the asphalt will be critical to overcome the terrain that form part of the tour.
However, the GS Trophy is not only focused on the speed. The special tests seek to assess skills comprehensive driving adventure in addition to the ability of the participants to solve practical challenges and intellectuals.
Team work is another of the core elements. Riders must support each other to overcome the situations that they find during the route, making the strategy and collaboration are just as important as the individual skill of the motorcycle.
Six days of adventure in the spirit GS
With the motto “Back to Basics”, the BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy 2026 retrieves some of the essential principles of the driving experience: precision, strength, discretion, and fellowship.
For representatives of Brazil, the appointment in addition, it represents the opportunity to carry the name of Latin america to an international competition which gathers bikers from different regions of the world.
With the Carpathian mountains as a stage and six days of challenges ahead, Aloisio Frazão and Eduarda Mikulski face along with the rest of the participants an experience in which every day will test their skills on the BMW R 12 G/S and, especially, their ability to work in a team.
