
The BMW M Concept Neue Klasse celebrates its world premiere at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Shows the new design language of BMW M and sends a clear signal to the future of the electric models of the brand. The vehicle builds a bridge between its history and the history of motorsport.
It is immediately recognizable as an automotive high-performance. BMW M has been true to his guiding principle: “Born on the race track. Made for the streets.”
“The new design language of BMW M is the tip of the spear expressive of the Neue Klasse – determined and with purpose,” says Oliver Heilmer, Head of Design BMW Compact Class, Neue Klasse and BMW M. “At BMW M, the form continues to consistently function. Every detail serves to the performance. This project is very special to me because it takes the character of BMW M to a new era.”

Form, function, and references to motor sport in the exterior design
Proportions powerful, precise lines, and a section of shoulders, well-muscled with fenders, wide-define the unmistakeable BMW M.
Numerous measures of specific design M optimise aerodynamics, including the exterior mirrors M aero reinterpreted in the colours of BMW M.
A distinctive air outlet gives shape to the chest from the front “V”. Supports the cooling of the electric powertrain.
The “nose of a shark” forward-facing and a signature luminous with depth effect characterize the front. The headlights and grille double form a unit. The new lights M Yellow Lights create a view focused on the road. These icons bright yellow will be a new signature on future cars BMW M, making reference to cars of GT racing and the BMW M Hybrid V8.
The front bumper of the BMW M Concept Neue Klasse adopts a design type trimaran, inspired by the shape of the hull of the sailing ships, high speed. The design of three parts highlights the appearance vehicle's technical and provides structural support for the wing separator (splitter) front, an element aerodynamic on the bottom edge of the front.
Another new accent lighting for future BMW M are the lights, Track Lights, three-dimensional located in the outer sections of the front bumper.
The Track Lights and the design trimaran also define the rear bumper of the BMW M Concept Neue Klasse. The Track Lights frame the item trimaran on the diffuser floating. A prominent salerón rear type “ducktail” (duck tail) improved aerodynamics, increased downforce (lift negative) in the rear axle and at the same time adds an accent to striking inside the clean design of the back.

Elements of natural fiber interior and exterior
Using elements of natural fiber both in the exterior and in the interior of the BMW M Concept Neue Klasse —for example, in the separator (splitter) front, the air outlet of the hood and the diffuser. For the first time, the natural fiber is not only used in its pure form, but also with a finish that is elegant and the mark M on the graph of the roof.
The new finish of metallic paint Monza Network and wheels with central nut-coded in red and blue enhance the visual link with BMW M motorsport.

Driver-focused cabin for an intense experience BMW M
The interior of the BMW M Concept Neue Klasse is sober and is oriented in a consistent way to the driving experience in a BMW M all-electric next-generation.
Four bucket seats developed recently provide secure support even in situations of handling highly dynamic and integrated structural elements of materials of natural fiber. The upholstery on Bathurst, Blue and Berry Red picks up on the colors BMW M in a leather finish Merino two-tone. Seat belts red five points emphasize the sporty character.
