The first model of the New Class appears in "Spider-Man™: A New Day", the new film of the famous superhero of Marvel, which will come to cinemas next July 31, 2026.
The collaboration between BMW and Marvel is going beyond a simple appearance film. The new BMW iX3 and the BMW 5-Series Sedan are part of the story and show how technology, design and innovation can be integrated into an entertainment experience overall.

The BMW iX3 Spider-Man symbolizes the transition to a new era for BMW. This model is the first representative of the New Class, a platform that incorporates important advances in electrification, connectivity, and efficiency.

Spider-Man is back with a new mission on the big screen
After the events of "Spider-Man™: No back home", Peter Parker faces a stage completely different. Four years later, the hero lives in a reality where their loved ones no longer remember who he is.
Despite this situation, Peter continues to protecting New York. However, the responsibility of being Spider-Man begins to have personal consequences. In addition, a mysterious wave of crimes will take him to face a threat never before seen.
The new film is based on the characters created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko for Marvel Comics. The address is in charge of Destin Daniel Cretton, while the script was developed by Chris McKenna, Erik Sommers, and Justin Kuritzkes.

BMW iX3 Flow Spider-Man takes customization to another level
As part of this collaboration, BMW introduced a special version called the BMW iX3 Flow – Spider-Man Brand New Day. This vehicle combines advanced technology with visual elements directly inspired in the universe of the superhero.
Thanks to dynamic graphics and technology E Ink Prism™ full-color, the body may show different visual effects. In this way, the vehicle acquires a changing appearance which reflects the energy and the characteristic movements of Spider-Man.
The proposal demonstrates how BMW continues to explore new forms of interaction between the car and its users. In this case, the vehicle ceases to be only a means of transport and converted into a visual experience.
After its introduction, the BMW iX3 Flow – Spider-Man Brand New Day will be available for display at BMW Welt, in Munich, until September 2026.
In addition, BMW will be a part of this experience directly to their customers. From 27 July until 10 August, certain compatible vehicles will be able to activate a special animation inspired by Spider-Man.
This function allows to enjoy a visual experience on the central screen of the vehicle, accompanied by music and lighting effects to the environment. The update will be available in more than 70 countries for models equipped with the BMW Operating System 7, 8, 8.5, 9, or BMW Operating System X.

BMW and Spider-Man together technology, entertainment and innovation
The partnership also includes the global campaign “The Big Screen”, a video that connects the thrill familiar with the technological innovation of BMW.
The story presents a father and his son while watching news about Spider-Man. Meanwhile, your BMW iX3 is charging. At that time, the child discovers the superhero on a nearby building.
At first, your father thinks that it only observes a graffiti. However, seconds after Spider-Man lands on the vehicle before you continue with your mission.
The campaign shows the capabilities of the BMW iX3 without removing prominence to the story. The technology appears integrated naturally and demonstrates how a car can be a part of cultural experiences.
The teaser was filmed in London with Luke Scott, double-action Spider-Man, and had the direction of the creative duo Hot Icarus. In addition, Jung von Matt Hamburg developed the campaign along with BMW and the collaboration of the UEG, the agency's global entertainment brand.
With this partnership, BMW confirmed that the future of mobility does not only depend on the technology. Will also be related to the ability to create memorable experiences that connect with people.
